Privacy Policy

Effective: August 2026

Who I Am

Dinkredibles is operated by Proluminary LLC, a Utah limited liability company. Proluminary LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through dinkredibles.com and the Dinkredibles private community.

This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit dinkredibles.com, subscribe to the Dinkredibles list, or join the private community.

Who Can Join

Accounts are held by adults aged 18 or over. Sons under 18 may take part on a member's account and may not hold accounts of their own. For boys under 13, the father does the posting on their behalf; they don't enter anything into the forum themselves. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information here, email legal@dinkredibles.com and I'll delete it.

Can I stay anonymous here?

To other members, yes. Use a handle instead of your real name if you'd rather, and pick an avatar that isn't your face. Nothing posted in the forum is public or indexed by search engines, it's a gated, paid room, and what's said here stays here.

You can't be anonymous to me. I receive your billing name and email through my payment processor, and card numbers never touch my server. That's the limit of it: I don't share any of it, and nothing goes to third parties for marketing.

A few things worth knowing:

  • What you post is visible to every other member. Details about your town, your job, your injuries, and your training partners add up over time. Share deliberately.
  • If you post video, remember that your face and your home courts are in it. Men who play locally may recognise both. That's your call to make.
  • If you run a pickleball business and list it in your profile, you've identified yourself. That's a reasonable choice, trust is easier to earn with a name on it.
  • Use an email that isn't tied to your identity if you want a clean separation. ProtonMail, Tuta, or an alias service like SimpleLogin all work.

Information I Collect

When you join the email list:

  • First name (optional)
  • Email address

When you join the community:

  • Name and email address
  • Payment information (processed by my payment processor; not stored by me directly)
  • Profile information you provide (photo, bio, location)
  • Content you post in the forum (posts, replies, messages)

Automatically collected:

  • IP address recorded at waitlist signup as part of the consent record, and in basic server log data. Server logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are not used to build any profile of you. The waitlist consent record is kept to document your agreement to receive communications.
  • Cookies for site functionality (theme preference, login session)

How I Use Your Information

Your email address is used to send you updates about Dinkredibles: what I'm building, when the community opens, and occasional broadcasts. No automated drip sequences. When there's something worth telling you, I tell you.

Community members' information is used to operate the forum: authentication, profile display, and posting.

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services (Processors)

I use third-party services to run Dinkredibles: email list management and broadcasts, payment processing, application and database hosting, file storage, DNS, transactional email, and the contact form. Each processes data on my behalf and is not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

The forum runs on infrastructure I control rather than a third-party community platform. The application and database are hosted on a server I administer, and your posts and messages are not sitting inside somebody else's product.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies: your theme preference (light or dark mode) and, for community members, your login session. I do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

Email list subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe. Community member account data is retained while membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case of dispute.

To request deletion of your personal information, email legal@dinkredibles.com. I will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as payment records).

Leaving and Account Closure

Email legal@dinkredibles.com from the address on your account and I'll close it.

Posts stay in the forum. Conversations here belong to the room, and pulling one man's side out leaves everyone else talking to themselves. If you'd rather your name not stay attached, say so and I'll anonymize the account: your words remain, your name comes off.

If you posted something you shouldn't have about your family, your employer, or your health, tell me which post and I'll remove it.

Payment records are retained as required by tax law.

Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from the Dinkredibles email list at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
